Nakuru House 1

Nakuru 1 is the first of a series of semi-prefabricated houses that will be built on a site near Lake Elementaita in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. Working with Kenyan developers who aim to bring sustainable building technologies to the country, the Nakuru houses incorporate sod roofs, photovoltaic panels, and passive mechanical systems while creating a living spaces that enjoy expansive views of the lake and surrounding area.
